endless summer

When I first started blogging, I would take my pictures immediately after getting home, throw together a post, and publish it by the end of the night. You were seeing exactly what I wore that very day. Now? Not so much. I'm days behind, but still such a stickler for maintaining order... so you get a casual Friday on Wednesday. hashtag casualwednesday?

Oh and here's a fun fact for the day: there's a stain on my shirt (thanks to a flimsy straw in my iced coffee). Instead of throwing this shirt in the laundry pile, I got another wear out of it by covering up the stain with a statement necklace. hashtag gowithit hashtag itssummer hashtag arehashtagsstillathing?

  1. I used to do the same thing when I first started blogging, now the outfits are posted a week or more later! This outfit is adorable, and seems extremely comfortable!

  3. I am days behind too. Every now and then I will post what I am currently wearing though. This outfit is so cute and casual yet dressy for Summer. Great tee. You have some adorable graphic tees, Kate.

Hope all is well. Ada. =)

  4. I am at least a week behind and my posts are all mixed up depending on when I get time to take photos or rewear the outfit and get photos! Love this casual look on you! That maxi skirt and graphic tee combo is so cute!

  6. Covering a stain with a necklace? You're my kinda girl! Haha! Anything to get an extra wear out of something. I Febreze everything to get an extra wear, too. :) I love the t-shirt tucked into a maxi look- so cute for summer.

  8. I think my outfit from Monday was from last month. I also post my outfits a lot less than you do though. Props for the stain cover up. I probably would've worn it and not even bothered to cover it up. lol.

  10. I have never known how you managed to blog same-day outfits! I used to get most of my posts scheduled on the weekend, or at least lined up with pictures and tags all ready, and then I'd write whatever I felt like writing the night before. But now it's all random! I've never thought of hiding a stain with a necklace - brilliant!

  11. I rarely post what I wear even in the same week. I try to do my post one week in advance so it's always outfits from before. I think it would be too much pressure to try and do that all in the same day. Too funny about the coffee stain and how awesome that you were able to cover it up :)

  13. up until fairly recently, i would always blog the outfit the same day i wore it too. it made me feel more authentic for some reason, but it never quite clicked in my head that no one else would know or care... everyone probably reads through their blog reader at different times, so it just didn't matter at all! anyway, i love seeing the cool summer looks you've been putting together lately, kate!

  14. hashtag yourehilarious. For me the hardest part about blogging is finding someone to take my pictures for me. So my outfits have always been late. Usually I'll wear something I like, fold it on top of my laundry basket, then take pictures a few days later. Although my parents are getting me a camera and a tripod for my birthday...so I can do it myself now!

  15. Oh gosh, I always used to take my pictures, quickly edit them, and write/publish the post right before work. It doesn't fit into my life to do it that way anymore, but I kind of liked just getting it done. Now, I have to take my pictures later on (like, I'll do 5-10 outfits on a weekend morning of outfits I've worn in the past couple of weeks), and then I'll write a post when I feel inspired. I'm lazy, but oh well :)

I love this look on you - it makes me wish I had a maxi skirt and a graphic tee to recreate it!
