bsb

99% of the content of my posts are sartorial, but today is one of those days when I depart from the norm. Recently I found a documentary on Netflix that I feel is worth mentioning and worth watching. And that is Show 'Em What You're Made Of. After watching it, I went out to Target and got their latest CD (with bonus tracks)... which I later learned came out two years ago. I'm such a terrible fan, despite the fact that I still get e-newsletters. (Apparently I deleted the one that said they were coming out with a new CD in 2013.)  I recommend the CD, obviously.

So there you go. I've been a huge fan of the Backstreet Boys since middle school, and while my fandom has waned slightly since then, I still love them. How can you not?! Are you still listening to bands from the 90s? Have you bought any good CDs lately?

  3. The BSB documentary is on my watch list! I saw them in concert last summer, and they were just as good as ever.

  4. I was always team BSB but haven't kept up with their newer stuff. I still have a few bands that I realize I've been listening to for 15 years or more now!

  6. I also watched their documentary on Netflix. Completely worth the two hours (or however long it was).

  7. Love this dress and the color on you. It really brightens you up. You look like you're glowing in these pictures (of course in a good way).

This morning I jammed out to the entire album "Bye Bye Bye" by *NSYNC. If only I could free up the brain space that stores the copious amounts of boy band lyrics for other useful things.

  9. I wasn't really into bsb back in the day, but their songs are undeniably catchy. I tried to tell my nieces about the boy bands when I was younger but they aren't interested unless it is One Direction! Also I love this dress and is your hair different? Shorter? If so, I like it. If not, then I still like it.

  10. This blue dress is so pretty on you! I was never a much of a boy band fan even back in the day but I still love a lot of 90s music. I cant honestly remember the last time I went to the store to buy a CD, I have been using itunes.

  11. I found a few 90's CDs in my in-laws basement a few weekends ago,and among them were a couple of BSB CDs.. needless to say I took them and they're in my car so I can listen to them! :) Also, I'm glad to hear that someone else is out there buying real CDs! I thought I was the only one.

  12. I used to be so much more into music during high school and college than I am now. I just don't have the time anymore!

  13. I must admit that I was more of an Nsync fan back in the day, but I have a healthy appreciation for BSB too. I listen to their music occasionally on my morning runs :)
I will have to add that documentary to my watch list!

  14. another great dress, kate! i wish we could swap closets! you know all too well my love for hanson, and even though i never got into BSB or nsyc, it's fun to hear someone else who is still such a fan of a "boyband" from back in the day.

  15. I love that cobalt dress! So perfect with the statement pendant. Now, if only 'N Sync would release another CD. How can we convince Justin Timberlake that it would be a good idea?

  17. BSB for life! They were my first love before NSYNC and I still would say they were my fave. I listen to the old stuff from time to time and keep the CDs (that I still have) in my car. I'll have to check out that documentary.
