debut: slip on sneakers

We interrupt regularly scheduled programming to bring you this outfit. I mentioned on Monday that I impulsively bought these slip on sneakers. I was so excited to wear them out and about, I completely forgot about the 21 day buffet. Oh well. You win some, you lose some. I felt like I won in this outfit since I was comfortable all day. But as I put this post together, I wondered: does the print of the scarf clash with the print of the shoes? How would you style these shoes?

  1. I have been seeing those sneakers all over the place lately! I wouldn't have ever considered them to be my style but all of a sudden I think I want them. Good purchase :)

  2. No way - they definitely don't clash! I think since the prints are spaced out a little bit, it totally works. Also, the shoes are great - they look so comfortable! And I love the blouse too. Okay, apparently I love everything.

  4. the shoe and scarf don't clash. Due to the both have brown in them.

  5. I agree with Ashley - I wouldn't wear that scarf with a leopard top, but since the shoes are on the opposite end of you, they don't clash at all. I actually really like this outfit! I was at Target yesterday and was slightly tempted by these shoes, but I have leopard print loafers that are so similar, I don't think I need the slip on sneaks, too!

  6. I don't think they clash. They are both smaller elements of your outfit and not next to each other so it all works. Besides leopard is a neutral! ;)

  7. Such a cute look! The scarf and slip-ons go together just fine. I just purchased a pair of leopard slip-ons myself last week and must say I LOVE them and will be wearing them all the time!

  8. I have become a sneakers hoarder. I bought a pair of leopard ones like yours earlier in the year and wear them non stop. I have since also added a pair of polka dots & a pair of plaid ones. I say leopard is the neutral and it goes perfectly with your outfit!

  9. You look so cute! I'm glad the sneakers worked out for you. I tried them on a while ago, but I felt like they made my big feet look even bigger. #debbiedowner

  12. I don't think they clash at all! They are so far apart that it helps i think. Leopard is basically a neutral anyway :)
