this dress. that necklace.

Does planning an entire week's outfits ahead of time make me a nerd? I knew weeks ago that I would end up wearing my blue ponte dress sometime during the first week of school. I decided to pair it with my new necklace, as I couldn't wait any longer to wear it. I'm pretty enamored with it, which is a great feeling to have about a new piece. Have you felt this way about anything you've purchased recently? If so, what piece triggered that feeling?

(I forgot to get a close-up shot of the necklace, but you can see it here.)

  1. This is a great dress & necklace I can see why you are excited to wear it. I recently bought a trench dress that can be worn as a vest too. Because of the versatility, I am really excited in the different ways I can wear it.

  2. Haha, I dont think this makes you a nerd, espcially when its the first week of school its totally normal to plan ahead, I think. Like I plan ahead a week before what to wear for a business meeting or an important date or even a picknick ;D

  7. I wish I would plan my outfits for the week, but I'm a slacker and spend way too much time in the mornings trying to decide. It's awesome that you are so excited about this dress and necklace. I'm so glad you decided to keep the dress. It's really gorgeous!

  8. WOW a week in advance? Kuddos to you, lady!

I feel like I've accomplished something big when I outfit plan the night before....but even that's rare for me because I'm so indecisive.

Loving that dress on you! I tried it on earlier and didn't fit me right, so I'm a tad jealous!

  12. Your blue ponte dress is just so pretty! It looks really comfy too which is a major selling point for me. I bought a pair of white denim shorts that I've always wanted but for some reason never bought and now I want to wear them everyday! Oh, and a basic Target black tank that looks amazing with everything.
