Pass It On :: Scout Chinos

Today I am linking up with Heather for Pinned it and Did it and Bri for Third Thursday Threads: animal print. I'm really trying to wear the things I love most, rather than wearing everything just for the sake of wearing it. (I'll save those clothes for the next time I do No Longer Neglected.) I love this vest, and love when Pinterest tells me how to wear it. This pin {via} and this pin {via} inspired today's outfit.

  1. First off you look awesome. I am currently looking to add a Bold/Colorful Feather Necklace, an Olive Military Vest & a Navy/White Gingham Shirt. The fact that you have them and wore them altogether makes me so happy and I seriously need them in my closet, as well.

Secondly, I wish I had joined this challenge but it fell at such a bad time for me with traveling and changing continents. I hope you do it again and when you do please let me know a week in advance because I will gladly participate.

Third, join my blog today and link up. I am Guest Hosting a Linky and I'd love to have your Stylish Self in there. Thanks so much.

Have a Great Weekend, Ada. =)

  2. I've planned on wearing those pins too! I like how you added the fan fringe necklace!

  3. I really like this with the bold necklace! Also, I never really thought of belting my vest like this, I'll have to give it a try!

  4. Love this outfit!! I really like the olive + blue gingham...and the fan necklace. Well, basically I just like the whole ensemble.
Quick question: I happen to have that exact same belt, and I bought it a size too big so that I could tie it in a cool way like you did here--how did you knot/tie your belt in this outfit?

  5. I have never belted my vest before and will need to give this a try. I like the pop of pink with this - very unexpected!

  6. I love the belt over the vest - I hadn't thought of trying that before but I love it. Such a cute combo, Kate! I feel like this is something you can wear over and over again!
